This site was launched in June 2000 just prior to my one-year journalism fellowship at the University of Hawaii. What started out as a way for me to keep in touch with family and friends on the mainland has evolved into this: my own personal space on the World Wide Web to share my musings, my rants, my creative energy, my photos or what have you. I hope that it also gives at least some sense of the Hawaii experience.
